So to be honest, I bought this book because I thought it looked good but I was hesitant that my 6 year old son would like it since he originally thought it was “girlish”. However, he was SO ENGAGED in it when I read it to him!! He kept trying to predict what would be on the next page to match the color.
As an educator, this book would be so fun to use in a color theme as there are so many arts and craft rainbow activities you could pair with this book. I would also recommend getting the hardcover especially if it’s going to be used in a classroom.
Highly recommend this book! Buy it as a gift for a teacher or child!

I absolutely loved this book! I bought it for my pre-k class. It is a lovely story about a little girl and her father and their adventure to the various colors of the rainbow. It has gorgeous illustrations and I loved the rhyming words in the story. It is the type of story that children will ask for you to read to them again and again. Not only is it enjoyable to read but it teaches as well. It’s a great book to help children learn their colors. I highly recommend this book.
